Ottawa Leather Fest 2010: Collar ID

Ottawa, March 1, 2010 -- The theme for Ottawa Leather Fest 2010 (August 27-29) will be "Collar ID". This theme will celebrate the submissives in our lives and the Dominants who appreciate them.

This year's highlights will include a first-time presenter at OLF, Lady Careina, Mistress of the Hypnotic Erotic. She is a certified consulting hypnotist, a Master neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) practitioner, a lifestyle Domina and a professional dominatrix living in Minnesota. Her seminar will be entitled "Hypnosis: Journeys in Dominance and submission".

This year also marks the return of Foxy and Sherifox, 2007 and 2008 Best of Show, International Pony Play Championships. They have been involved in the BD/SM lifestyle for decades and enjoy all aspects of BD/SM. They will present two seminars: "Strap-on Sex for All Genders" and "Cell Popping and Other Temporary Brands".

Favourites Mistress Cyan (producer of DomCon L.A. and Atlanta) and Goddess Genesis will give a presentation on "Power Exchange: A Frank Explanation of Dom/sub Relationships and When You Switch". There will be other seminars as well.

Friday will open with a meet-and-greet and another International Kinky Kabaret, hosted by Oto-san and Encore. A play party will follow.

Saturday will be devoted to the seminars, vendors (featuring Master Andre's Whips), the "I Like to Watch, I Like to Play" party (with some of our seminar presenters) and the annual Mr. and Ms. Central Canada Olympus Leather contest. Ottawa's Pride parade and picnic will be held on Sunday.

The judges for the Mr. and Ms. CCOL 2010 contest will be Head Judge Dave Rhodes, editor of The Leather Journal; Sir Jack Pearce, International Community Bootblack 2008; Zelda Marshall, our permanent trans judge and the first LADY (Leather Ambassador in Drag of the Year); and our current titleholders, Mike Tattersall and Tango.

Packages for the whole weekend will be $70. The event will again be held at Breathless, Ottawa's premier dungeon space.
